25th December is a significant date for commemorating birth stories, and on this day in 2017, The BBC World Service programme: The Cultural Frontline chose to feature a full length adaptation of one of the B!RTH Plays.
Q&Q Written by Liwaa Yazji, translated by Clem Naylor and adapted for radio by Emma Callander and was one of seven plays originally commissioned by the Royal Exchange Theatre Manchester. The B!RTH project is now led by the Centre for Maternal Health at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.
